This patch is a direct recreation of one worn by operatives at a legitimate black site in the American Southwest. This specific design is the one quoted by the author and journalist Trevor Paglen, starting his journey into documenting patches from locations like Area 51 and to decipher the hidden meanings in them. This patch features the phrase that inspired the title of his book, 'I Could Tell You But Then You Would Have To Be Destroyed by Me' in Latin.
